
Event description:
The CADS Ski Level 1 course is the first step toward becoming a Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS) Ski Instructor. This course prepares participants to support skiers with disabilities and help make the ski hill accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
The course introduces the CADS Ski Teaching Methodology, includes an introduction to tethering, and covers the following modules:
Visual Impairment (VI)
Neurodiversity (ASD/CI – Autism Spectrum Disorder / Cognitive Impairment)
3-Track
4-Track
Sit-Ski
Training will take place both indoors and outdoors, including on-snow sessions. Participants should dress appropriately for winter conditions. Electronic copies of course materials and study guides will be provided following registration.
Dates: January 31–February 1st, 2026
Location: Table Mountain Ski Area, Saskatchewan
