The CADS Ski Level 1 course is the first step toward becoming a Canadian Adaptive Snowsports (CADS) Ski Instructor. This course prepares participants to support skiers with disabilities and help make the ski hill accessible and enjoyable for everyone. The course introduces the CADS Ski Teaching Methodology, includes an introduction to tethering, and covers the following modules: Training will take place both indoors and outdoors, including on-snow sessions. Participants should dress appropriately for winter conditions. Electronic copies of course materials and study guides will be provided following registration. Location: Mission Ridge Winter Park Event OverviewThe 20th Annual SaskTel Classic Challenge Cup is a fun, inclusive ski & snowboard race that brings the community together in support of the Regina Ski Club Alpine Adaptive Ski Program (RAASP). This unique fundraising event enables teams of all ability levels to compete in a friendly dual slalom race, directly supporting adaptive athletes and helping to create access to snow sports for individuals with disabilities.
🏂 Race FormatEach team consists of four participants plus one adaptive skier, making this a truly inclusive and meaningful on-snow experience.
