To: Saskatchewan Alpine Ski Association Membership Re: COVID-19 Update
December 21, 2021
Dear SASA Membership,
Saskatchewan Alpine is excited that programming and training have started in the province. We look forward to beginning the race season in Saskatchewan in the new year.
Would like to thank everyone for following the current SHA COVID-19 protocols and continuing following the protocols at our local resorts. This will ensure that we will have a safe year of programming for all our athletes, coaches, and volunteers.
Saskatchewan Alpine strongly recommends that children ages from 5-11 receive the COVID-19 vaccine. We also strongly recommend that all eligible members receive their booster.
Saskatchewan Alpine will require all athletes born in 2009 and earlier, as well as coaches and volunteers to provide proof of full vaccination. This policy will be in place for all SaskCup training events and SaskCup Races. The current COVID-19 policy can be found on our website.
Athletes eligible to attend the upcoming Saskatchewan Winter Games must ensure they have received their second dose by February 5, 2022.
Seeing athletes, coaches, and parents back on the hills with smiling faces has been great. If you require further information, please advise.
Regards,
Tyler Pochynuk
